What GEM certification is
The GEM Sustainability Certification Rating Program is run by ASSOCHAM, the Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India. It rates buildings on site, energy, water, materials, waste, indoor environment and innovation, from GEM 1 up to GEM 5.
Projects can be rated at the design stage and again on completion. Because a GEM Certified Professional leads our work, the documentation is prepared the way the reviewers expect to see it.

Is a GEM rating recognised for incentives?
Recognition depends on the state or municipal scheme. Some incentive schemes name specific rating systems, so we check the rules that apply to your site before you choose.
How is GEM different from IGBC?
Both are Indian rating systems with similar themes. The credit structure, fees and process differ, and the better fit depends on your project type and why you want the rating. We compare both for your project before you register.
